Our USDA Organic Mushrooms are triple-extracted for bioavailability and harvested in Southern California. Our farm partners have been growing and extracting mushrooms for more than 40 years.

Raw mushrooms contain beneficial compounds within their cell walls, but they are not naturally bioavailable. The chitin (in the cell walls) is largely indigestible which is why many have digestive issues when they consume non-extracted mushrooms. The triple-extraction process boosts the bioavailability and digestibility of these mushrooms.

The triple extraction consists of a fermentation process (to extract the triterpenoids, polysaccharides, and alkaloids), hot water extraction (to further extract polysaccharides), and an alcohol extraction (to further extract triterpenoids) and to extract as much fiber out of the mushrooms as possible so all that's left is the benefits.

This process is done throughout the course of 100+ days, to ensure optimal bioavailability. There is a 90 day alcohol extraction to extract the triterpenoids and other beneficial compounds that are only alcohol soluble.
