Add 1.5 tbsp (15g) of Ascend Mushrooms Cacao and 6-8oz of your choice of heated milk (175F) into a high-speed blender (for best results). Blend on high for 30 seconds, take a deep breath, and enjoy.

This is totally normal! Your cacao is not bad if it shows up like this, it's simply not in its powdered state. When chocolate comes into contact with high heat, it is inevitable that it will melt. Our goal is to try to prevent this as much as possible through placing ice packs in your order as well as packing your box tight so little air can get in. However, we ultimately we cannot prevent how USPS handles the cacao and often this entails leaving the cacao in a smoldering hot truck on a 100 degree day.

We do not offer refunds on melted cacao, because we have solutions!
