My love affair with Ascend (and founders Jack and Tay) started with their Mushroom Matcha. So smooth and yummy and many of my friends agree and have become customers. About two months ago I got serious about their Cacao Mushroom blend and became totally hooked on that too! Taste, texture, sensations… all around perfection. So good I sometimes feel like I’m cheating on the Matcha! 😉
We’ve been drinking ceremonial grade cacao since 2012 and have tried a lot of different strains and blends. Ascend is by far the best. Perfectly sweet, creamy, the addition of mushrooms is the icing on the cake. We’ve been ordering both the Ascend cacao and matcha on repeat for a couple of years now and highly recommend it!

I am not a fan of the coca nut sugar, if I'm being honest. I prefer unsweetened and using raw honey..
Shipping was super quick. Handwritten note was a nice touch too! I love the metal tin and the cacao is delicious and high quality. I recently quit coffee and this was my transitional treat to myself. It’s not overly sweet, and I was happy to find a company that uses coconut sugar not stevia or monk fruit which have a fake taste to me. Sometimes I also add some protein powder as well. It is best enjoyed with milk, though when I’m out I’ve made it with water and it still works, just a different mouthfeel/less rich. I drink my cup in the grass in my backyard while grounding and getting morning light.
I probably won’t be able to afford to have it often- but it’s definitely become a welcome addition to some lifestyle changes I’m making.
This is by far the tastiest mushroom infused cacao we’ve had! It’s worth the cost because the ingredients are high quality, the taste is delicious, and it’s great for the soul! My husband and I enjoy a cup every night. It’s like a nightly thing now. The cacao dissolves well and I use a hand frother that gives the drink a creamy texture. We mix it with hot water and top it off with a 1/4 cup half n half. Yummy and so good for the body/mind. I have a tin and an extra bag om hand always.

I found Ascend in the Saturday farmers market while visiting my best friend in Bend, OR. I loved it so much that now I’ve had it shipped to me in New Jersey. I’ve even converted my mom! Ascend mushroom cacao is better than I expected. No jitters, no running to the bathroom, no coffee breath. Ascend provides a sense of calm & increased clarity. Flavor is delicious with light cocoa overtones & no woody grit. Blends easily & a terrific way to start your day or wind down your evening. It will definitely be on my wish list for every occasion.
Im loving this. Have been trying to find a way to get away from iced coffee and hot drip. I am very happy with this and it tastes amazing. I personally add a tablespoon of honey and some cinnamon (and a little St johns wort) and it tastes like mexican hot coco. Perfect way to start my day. I feel great. i feel less jittery and its a good way to help me stay home and grounded in the morning because i actually look forward to it and i dont feel the need to go through a drive through every morning. Using this every morning instead of getting coffee filled with sugar and processed almond milk has lowered my cortisol and anxiety. Thank youuuuuu. (just signed up for the monthly subscription.) Ascend Mushrooms tastes similar to hot chocolate. My kids could not believe it the word mushrooms was even a part of the name. Tastes too good to be called healthy!

Ceremonial cacao combined with a premium mushroom blend is absolutely delightful 👌🏼. I mix it with boiling water and stir until it cools down, which enhances the chocolate flavor perfectly. Adding unsweetened milk can sweeten the drink due to the coconut sugar from AscendMushroom. I prefer my ceremonial cacao to taste slightly bitter, so I find that any milk is unnecessary.
I absolutely love ascend Cacao!! It is beyond delicious. I use it daily with a little almond milk and I even add my creatine into the Nespresso frother and it’s what I enjoy waking up to in the mornings!!
